WORDLESS WEDNESDAY: Dangerous Pet Areas

During our last cross country road trip, we happened upon this rest stop in the Southwest and wanted to get our dogs out of the car for a potty break.

One of these signs is not like the other, one of the these signs just does NOT belong!
Barely 3 feet away from the Pet Exercise area is a sign that warns about scorpions and snakes!  Things that make ya go HUH?!  Needless to say, it was a really fast potty break.  If you're planning to travel with your dog, be aware of potentially dangerous areas for your pet, even at rest stops!

THIS IS A BLOGPAWS WORDLESS WEDNESSDAY BLOG HOP!!

    1. Yes, it is scary. I didn't expect to see something like that at an Interstate rest stop. Thanks for stopping by the blog!

  6. Yeah, I think my dog would use the no-dog-snake-or-scorpions-allow area. I'm a real stickler for rules, but there comes a time when rules must be broken!

    1. I agree! It was pretty crazy - you'd think there would be some part of the rest stop area that wasn't snake & scorpion infested! Thanks for stopping by today, Kelley!
