Are You One of Those Crazy Pet Moms With a Camera?

Around this time of year, I become obsessed with photographing my dogs amongst holiday décor.  If there's a display anywhere dogs are allowed, I am compelled to stop and photograph them.  Do you do the same thing?

Sitting with a reluctant Phoebe on my lap at this adorable holiday display in a shopping center

Of course I had to also make my husband take a picture with Isis in the same display.  He was not happy.  "I'm hungry, can't we just eat already?"

Oh look!  Another adorable display, I had to stop & take a picture, didn't I??

One last shot in front of a pretty wreath with a gorgeous view along this major roadway in Sedona. Oh Honey, you just have to step into the street for a minute to get the shot. I'm sure you won't get hit by a speeding car!

If you're with your dogs and you pass a cute holiday display, do you feel compelled to stop and take a photo?  Leave us a comment!

THIS IS A BLOGPAWS WORDLESS WEDNESDAY BLOG HOP!!

  1. Neat photos! Yes, my Mama and Papa are always interrupting important business to play "shutterbug!" It can be irritating but I suppose we have lots to show for it! *wags* - Gilligan from wagsahoy.com

  4. Yep! I'm disappointed because our dog-friendly bookstore usually has a Grinch we can pose with, but not this year for some reason. We like to pose our pooches in front of our trees before we cut them down. We've really got it down to a science now. We bring a tripod, set it to take 10 pictures in a row on a timer. Gives us lots of options.

    1. Oh wow, a Grinch would be so cool! Too bad they don't have it this year - I hope you complained bitterly. I'm hoping for a better camera for Christmas, one that has burst so I can take lots of pics in a row. That's a great feature. Thanks for stopping by Kari!

  7. We haven't taken them except in the neighborhood, but they do have to pose with decorations. We just came home from our walk and a neighbor has put a HUGE blow up dog in his yard. Bentley just stood and had a stare-off with it. I laughed so loud!

  9. I've often wanted to wander into people's lawn displays to take a picture with Haley, but luckily my common sense usually kicks in. They probably wouldn't mind, but you never know.

    1. Hey, I say go for it! Who can get mad about someone wanting to take a photo of their holiday display - it's a huge compliment! As long as your dog doesn't poop on the lawn while you're doing it! Thanks for stopping by!
