We are so ready to move to a dog-friendly area!

I think so Kerry! I hate leaving my dogs behind, if they can't go someplace, I usually won't go either.

I can't tell you how much I miss Phoenix, Arizona is super dog friendly and Long Island is so NOT dog friendly. It's ridiculous.

Discovering new parks to walk - and new smells to smell are the absolute best! Fall is our favorite season and we are looking forward to many walks with Ruby in the woods.

It looks like you had such a fun outdoor adventure with Phoebe and Icy! Love the peek-a-boo pic of Icy. Fall is such a great time to go for walks or hikes. Happy trails...and tails!

Looks like a lovely place for a walk with many great smells. I still think it's weird that there's parks that don't allow dogs! Here it's just wildlife reserves and such.

Dogs love the stimulation of exploring fresh new places and it is so great to see Icy and Phoebe having a ball. They must make going for a walk just the BEST fun.

I am say here smiling at their sheer enjoyment and fun!!

Dog friendly parks are so much fun and provide valuable exercise for our little ones. Loved these photos of Icy and Phoebe.

You have some great places to go for walks! Being city folks we get pretty bored going to the same park every day. It takes a lot of planning ahead of time for us to go somewhere different! Sandra and Dolly

It seems like you are finding lots of great places to hike with your dogs! Do you have a trick to finding them?

Those look like nice trails. Wish I was closer so I could check the trails out.

I know if I had a dog, I would want to find dog friendly restaurants, hotels, and walking paths!

Looks like a nice place to hike! When I owned a springer, she loved to go for walks in the woods, mostly because I let her off leash. My cockers don't like the woods too much and prefer to walk in the neighborhood where they can meet other dogs to bark at.

Discovering new places is so much fun! I love the peek-a-boo photo with Icy. I bet the dogs loved getting to explore a new pathway. :)

Dog friendly is a must for our Pack! I'm personally a dog friendly ON leash pack, but that's just me!

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

Me too! I never let my dogs off leash unless it's a secured, enclosed dog park.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

Thank you, I'm glad you like that photo!

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

I love finding new places to go with the dogs, & when they're close to home it's a bonus.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

It was SO nice! Interesting that your Cockers don't like the woods, my dogs love it. I don't let them off leash though, too many bad owners with unsocialized dogs.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

It's my favorite thing, finding dog friendly places and taking our dogs on adventures with us!

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

They are so nice, and shady too! Always a plus.

I've been looking really hard - I actually found this place in someone else's blog post. She lives not too far from us and I follow her - one day I saw this great photo in one of her articles and the caption said where it was. I was shocked to see it was 20 minutes away! I also read articles in local papers, anything to do with dogs. They often mention parks, beaches, etc. that dog friendly events were held at, etc. I also search online for dog friendly places using my state or city.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

That's awesome! I hope you'll blog about it.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

It's amazing, sometimes there are dog friendly places nearby that you never find out about until someone writes about it or mentions it. I found this one by accident, reading someone else's article about a dog walking event.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

Oh absolutely! I'm so glad you like our photos.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

They were so excited finding a brand new place to explore! I love going on woodsy walks & hikes with them, it's so motivating.

It was really nice, I'm so glad we found this park. I know, it's awful that Long Island is so objectionable to dogs in public places. When we lived in AZ we saw how amazing it can be when your city is super dog friendly. We miss that a lot.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them said...

It was so great! I'm glad you like that funny peek a boo photo of Icy, I got a kick out of it too. Fall is going to be great fun for us, lots of adventure planned!

It is great, we don't have enough dog friendly places out here. This park was a great find, we loved it!
