I started my blog mainly because I wanted to share information and tips about the world of animal welfare and how to be better stewards of our pets’ well being. I also wanted to share the healthy, fun, and active life we lead with our dogs to show people just how rewarding life with dogs can be!

I trained my Siberian Husky, Icy, to be a therapy dog. We are a registered Pet Partners animal therapy team. I adopted my other dog Phoebe from one of the shelters I volunteer at. Volunteering at the shelter and working with Icy to help people in need are two of the most rewarding things I've ever done!
